TRANSFORMATION OF 1924 VILLA
A beautiful classic villa on the shores of lake Zurich was entirely transformed to lighten up and create airy spaces while keeping its classical feel.
The client was interested in colors and structures and wanted to make some courageous choices, moving beyond the standard and safe.
The color palette is broad, though speaking one harmonious language with transitional beiges, greys, greens, blues and blacks. Elegance emerges from sophisticated details, such as brass handles and lights, a chevron parquet floor and refined forms of wood.
MOUNTAIN OASIS
A holiday flat built in the 1980s was renovated and modernised without losing its mountain charm.
The client was looking to create an oasis of relaxation, calm and closeness to nature.
The color palette is calm and natural, and includes black details to give the atmosphere some edge and contrast. Wooden details sourced from local trees spread warmth, while the design classics give the space a contemporary and timeless feel.
The amazing view and exposure to sunshine are accentuated to broaden the horizon while looking from inside out.
Penthouse Furnishing
A gallerist’s penthouse rental on the hills of Zug, with a stunning view and a charming attic character.
The client wished to furnish it with a touch of luxury and some lavish elements that bring warmth and cosiness. The color palette is warm and neutral, using some seasonal touch-ups for special occasions.
Despite the rather modest size of the living area, a generous feel could be created by using a lavish materialisation palette and some dramatic color.
